i had a dream i was getting ready to get in the car with my daughter who was in the car already waiting for me. But before i can get in my car. Someone dressed in all black yelling hey hey hey asks me for change as in money.dressed. as I am looking inside my blue cross body purse. i see their hand move fast and i block my face with my right hand but they snd ip splashing acid on my right hand and my left side of my neck. I end up beating her up. And then I ask my daughter to call 911. my cousin who threw the acid on me says to me "this wouldn't have happened if i would have forgave her". and i end up at the hospital in a coma. I hear someone who is a family member talking to me but im trapped in my body unable to speak. it felt like deja vu. like it had already happened and the cousin who did this to me also in my waking life had just recently smashed all of my car windows with a pot because of a argument and her drunken delusional rage. When I awoke having an anxiety attack. my Right hand was physically hurting immediately i noticed. And it has not stopped hurting all day.
Dreams are a complex interplay of emotions, experiences, and symbols. In your dream, there are several themes and elements that stand out, which can help us interpret its meaning:
Car: Cars often symbolize control, direction, and the journey of life. Your daughter waiting in the car could represent your responsibilities and the importance of family ties. You were preparing to join her, which might reflect your desire to be present for your family.
Encounter with the stranger: The individual dressed in black asking for change could symbolize feelings of vulnerability or confrontation with a challenging situation that arose unexpectedly. The act of being approached for money may touch on feelings of being taken advantage of or overwhelmed by others' demands.
Acid and injury: Acid is often a symbol of deep emotional pain or trauma. The act of being splashed with acid could reflect feelings of betrayal or hurt in your life, particularly involving your cousin, who represents a personal conflict. Blocking your face suggests an instinctive desire to protect yourself from emotional or physical harm.
Violence and retaliation: Your reaction of beating the person up indicates a buildup of anger and frustration. It may represent your desire to confront challenges head-on but also raises concerns about how you handle conflicts and protect yourself in real life.
Connection to reality: The mention of deja vu, along with the reference to your cousin’s previous violent behavior, suggests a recognition of patterns in your life or relationships. It points to unresolved feelings and the cycle of conflict that may need to be addressed or broken.
Hospital and being trapped: Ending up in a coma and feeling trapped in your body indicates feelings of helplessness or feeling as though your voice isn’t being heard in critical situations. It suggests a longing to communicate emotions but feeling unable to do so.
Physical pain: The fact that you woke with physical pain matches the intensity of the emotions experienced in the dream. This connection between mind and body can highlight how emotional turmoil manifests physically and may indicate the need to address stress or unresolved issues.
Overall, this dream likely reflects deep-seated feelings of conflict, vulnerability, and the need to manage personal relationships in your life. The anxiety you felt upon waking can signal the urgency to address these feelings constructively. It might be helpful to explore these emotions further, either through reflection or talking with someone you trust, to work through any lingering issues and find a path toward forgiveness and healing.
